Last month I attended a women's conference and during one of the sessions, it turned into a Q & A from the audience.  One cute gal stood up and shared quite an emotional experience she was having with a loved one.  She was really torn apart.

The speakers were asking her more questions to get to the root of the issue.  Without getting into the details she said "well my friends say that it should be this way."

One of the speakers said, "hold on…you are comparing their life and experience to yours instead of looking at your values, etc."

Then they said, "Comparing yourself to others is a down payment for suffering."

And boy did that ring true!

If there was one stumbling block I've faced in my business journey it would be comparing my journey and my results to others.
